May I transfer my work permit or change employer?

Work permits are tied to the employer (sponsor); they cease to be valid as soon as the employment terminates. They are therefore not transferable.

Nevertheless, your new employer may apply for a change of employment application. If you'll be doing the same type of job as you were doing for the previous employer the application will be straightforward; otherwise the requirements are more strict. The same kind of rules apply if you're changing jobs within the same company.
